Architecting the experience operating system by Kishan Koriya

Kishan Koriya is a Design System Manager at Lloyds Banking Group and a core member of the Cancara OS squad, where he helps shape the operating system that supports seven brands and reaches nearly thirty million customers. His work focuses on defining system level foundations across both Native and Web platforms, enabling product teams to build consistent experiences at scale.

Kishan played a major role in the 2024 digital first transformation of Lloyds, contributing to the shift toward an experience led brand and helping establish the structures that underpin the multi-brand ecosystem.

In 2025 he delivered the Re-imagine Lloyds talk at Config, presenting Cancara OS and demonstrating how design systems can act as catalysts for cultural change and organisational evolution.

His leadership spans end to end system governance, design to engineering alignment and the creation of shared architectural frameworks that support Native and Web teams across the organisation. He is recognised for his systems thinking, collaborative approach and ability to bring structure and clarity to large scale digital transformation
